| Abstract: | beta-decay of 31Cl can be used as a selective tool for studying astrophysically relevant states in 31S. In this article we review the present status of the decay data. The implications for the 30P(p,gamma)31S reaction rate at novae temperatures, and future experimental ideas are discussed. |
