Cyclotron Institute / Luedecke Building

The Radiation Effects Facility is located within the Luedecke Cyclotron Institute building on the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.

 

 

 

 

Location

Our physical address is 120 Spence St, College Station, TX. On campus, we are directly across Spence Street from the Zachary Engineering Education Complex and directly behind the Jack E. Brown Engineering Building.

Airports

College Station is served locally by Easterwood Airport (CLL). Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is an alternative (1.5 hour drive), as is Austin's Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) (2 hour drive).

Hotels

Hotels are plentiful in the College Station area, with many located less than a mile from the Cyclotron Institute.

The Bryan-College Station Visitors Bureau has a good list of accomodations.

Parking

PARKING NOTICE: Changes for Lot #47

Parking near the Cyclotron Institute building is limited. There are four 24-hour reserved spaces that have been designated for our guest. These spaces do not require a hang-tag and you are free to use them if they are open. The Northside Parking Garage is another nearby option.

Building Entry

Until further notice all guest are required to entry and leave through the rear door. Use the lockbox for door entry.

If you are having trouble getting into the building you can use the phone by the door to contact the control or call 979-845-1415 for assistance.
