 CICADA Primary Care Grants

The Cyclotron Institute Community Awareness Development Assembly Primary Care Grant Program provides funds to cover primary care needs for all members of the Cyclotron Institute incurred when participating in a scholarly conference, symposium, workshop, meeting or experiment.


APS Childcare Grants

The American Physical Society (APS) initiated a childcare grant program to aid career advancement for physicists with the opportunity to attend the March and April APS annual meetings. The childcare grants cover on-site care at the meetings, home childcare expenses due to unavailability of the primary caregiver and expenses for bringing a caregiver or dependent to the meeting. Prof. Yennello’s initiative on the APS Childcare Grants allow for women physicists to continue advancing in the physical sciences field.

College of Science Primary Care Grants for Professional Travel

Prof. Yennello started a program whereby the Texas A&M University College of Science provided primary care grants for professional travel for faculty, staff member, postdoctoral candidates or graduate students seeking to attend conferences or meetings that will advance their professionalism and career. The College of Science has become the College of Arts & Sciences, where a similar policy for faculty has continued.

College of Science Parental Leave Guidelines

Prof. Yennello started a program whereby the Texas A&M University College of Science had guidelines for parental leave for the birth or adoption of a new child for eligible faculty members.  The College of Science has become the College of Arts & Sciences, for more information click here
