Bulk QCD Dynamics in Relativistic Heavy Ion Collisions - 3D hydro+micro approach at RHIC
Abstract:
We introduce a combined fully three-dimensional relativistic 3D-hydrodynamics and a microscopic non-equilibrium model for the later hadronic stage. Within this approach we study the dynamics of hot, bulk QCD matter, which is being created in ultra-relativistic heavy ion collisions at RHIC. We perform a detailed analysis of the reaction dynamics, hadronic freezeout, transverse flow and elliptic flow. In addition, we discuss interactions between medium and jets.
