Superfluidity in Cold Atoms and in Dense Quark Matter

Abstract:

We discuss superfluidity in an atomic gas of fermions and in dense quark matter. For asymmetric fermion systems, we consider pairing beyond BCS, i.e. gapless phases. In addition, we examine superfluid stability and possible realizations of gapless phases in BEC-BCS crossover.
