The goal of this questionnaire is to gather the maximum input from the community
about the important achievements and
open questions of our field. It should not be interpreted as a public vote on
science, but as a way to sort out the points of
consensus and the points of debate in order to prepare the workshop. All answers
will be taken into account.
Question 1:
What do you think are the most important advances in nuclear reaction dynamics
in the Fermi energy regime
that you have been involved with during the past twenty years? Please list up
to three publications in which these
advances are presented.
Question 2:
What do you think are the most important advances made by others in the field?
Please list up to five publications in which these advances are presented and
of which you are not an author.
Please try to take into account the entire field of nuclear reaction dynamics
and thermodynamics in the Fermi
energy regime.
Please consider the following in your response.
The wealth of experimental data and associated analysis
The diversity in theoretical approaches and associated "signals"
Question 3:
Anticipating our efforts to communicate with physicists from other fields or
with the general public what, in your
opinion, are the most important results coming from our field? How do these
results impact other fields?
Question # 4
What do you think are the most important open questions which remain?
What are the most important directions to follow in the next years?
