Recent
theoretical
developments as well as data on the nuclear modification of jets
from RHIC and LHC will be discussed. Observables capable of
discriminating between
perturbative QCD based jet tomographic models and string theory
inspired
gravity dual holographic models of high pT jet medium
interactions will be
pointed out. The
great sensitivity of
current data interpretations to initial state nuclear
shadowing/saturation
physics will be emphasized that will require dedicated p+Pb
control data from
LHC in the near future.
